Vision

Utilizing scouting principles and advancement programs set forth by the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), Girl Scouts of the United States of America (GSUSA), and traditional Vietnamese Scouting Programs, the mission of Liên Đoàn Chi Lăng is to develop leaders of character, personal growth, and friendship by promoting outdoor activities, character development, citizenship training, personal fitness and Vietnamese cultural learning while retaining the Vietnamese heritage. 

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

The mission of Girl Scouts of the United States of America builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. 

While the mission statements may be different, the result is the same.  Scouting builds character, confidence, and courage by preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Laws.  In order to achieve these missions, all scouts must know and practice the Scout Oath and Laws so that they can be role models for others.

Liên Đoàn Chi Lăng believes in the triad of BSA, GSUSA and HDTU-HDVN, using the strengths of the three organizations to enrich the experiences of our scouts.
